He focuses on industrial and office leases, acquisitions and dispositions with special expertise managing economic development initiatives associated with Greenfield site selection for Fortune 150 clients. In the past two years, he has closed more than 1.8 million sf of improved property transactions and more than 350 acres of industrial land transactions on clients' behalf.

Prior to joining the firm, Farrar operated as a sole practitioner with his own company, Robert W. Farrar & Associates, for the past 16 years. Prior to that, he was with locally based Carter & Associates. "I joined GVA for the support and technology that I did not have access to as a sole practitioner," Farrar tells GlobeSt.com. "It's a big boost for me to be around like-minded people."
Farrar says he plans to continue serving his clients with the new resources available to him at GVA. "My number one priority is to serve my clients," he says. "I plan to use the analytic resources that are available to me."
The move will allow Farrar to continue his involvement with business and civic organizations. He serves on the Atlanta regional board of directors for the Camp Coca-Cola Foundation's youth development program.
