Jayco Adds President for South Africa Operations

PORT ELIZABETH, SOUTH AFRICA-Thabang Lesaoana will lead the development of Madiba Bay, a planned luxury resort here, and other tourism-related investments in cooperation with the government.

PORT ELIZABETH, SOUTH AFRICA-Jayco Real Estate Investments of Alexandria, VA, has tapped Welkom native Thabang Lesaoana to be president of Jayco South Africa LLC, which is developing Madiba Bay, a luxury hotel/resort here that will host the tournament referees of the FIFA 2010 World Cup Games.

The specific plans for Madiba Bay include a five-star, 500-room hotel, airport upgrades in Port Elizabeth and other investments in tourism. All of the projects will be overseen by Lesaoana in cooperation with the government, says Jayco president Jay Cohen.
