"Giles' capabilities and international expertise will be instrumental in continuing to grow our global practice," says Elysia Ragusa, president and COO of Staubach. "He is a proven leader who exemplifies our commitment to serving the comprehensive global needs of major corporations."

Wrench will be based out of Staubach's New York office where he will work to "support the firm's efforts abroad to secure and service new multinational clients and increase the focus on direct referrals from the joint venture's 209 offices worldwide," according to a release.

"Corporations are growing their businesses around the globe and are increasingly in need of international real estate services," Wrench says. "As our industry continues to consolidate, the importance of a global delivery platform is critical. The Staubach Co. and DTZ have enjoyed a successful joint venture for many years. We clearly share the same objective of delivering exceptional client service."

The more fluid integration of the two firms, is something that has been discussed for several years, "and I am coming onboard to speed that up," Wrench tells GlobeSt.com. "At the moment, the companies operate in a joint venture agreement, which they have done for many years. The discussions and the hope is to become a more global platform."

Prior to this position, Wrench was employed for more than 12 years by Atisreal, a subsidiary of international bank BPN Paribus. Holding several roles throughout the years in Europe, Asia and New York City, most recently he was in charge of global business development and client management as president of Atisreal USA. GlobeSt.com ran an UpClose on Wrench at that time.
