HENDERSON, NV-The area surrounding the glitz and glamour of the Strip is spilling out and expanding. Nowhere is that more evident than at Inspirada, a 2,000-acre master-planned community going up in the southern foothills of the Las Vegas valley.

At build-out, the community will include more than 11,000 homes for an estimated 26,000 residents. The project will include roughly 300 acres of recreational land and more than 20 miles of trails for walking and biking.

“We’re excited to see what ‘new-urbanism’ will bring with its villages, town centers, parks and trails,” said Henderson Mayor James B. Gibson in an official statement announcing the development.
