The site's new design follows a format that is visually more aligned with GlobeSt.com. Additionally, GlobeSt.com readers who click onto a retail-related story will now be directed into GSR, giving them the option to read the site's additional retail news and feature articles. Quick links back to GlobeSt.com will also be available to ease reader's navigation.

"GSR's new look will give the site more exposure without taking away its niche in retail real estate journalism," says Real Estate Media group publisher and editorial director Michael Desiato. "The redesign of GlobeSt.RETAIL more closely aligns RETAIL with the GlobeSt.com brand without diminishing its unique character."

Regular GSR readers won't notice any difference in the daily coverage the site provides. "The content is the constant here," says John Salustri, executive editor of the online division, "and the quality of the coverage GlobeStRETAIL provides will be unchanged. But by providing the appropriate wrapping for all retail stories, site visitors will be able to access the range of news, features and services GlobeStRETAIL provides."

New features on the site include a page devoted to global retail news and easier access to other Real Estate Media products, such as its online newsletters, print publications and the RealShare Conference series. "This is exciting," says Ian Ritter, GSR's national online editor. "We have the opportunity to gain more exposure, while adding content and improving GSR's overall design."
