Details of the lease were not released. But rents in Midtown average $69 per sf, with rents above $75 per sf in Rockefeller Center area, according to CBRE February 2007 statistics.
"Since Premiere is the leading network radio syndicator with some of the most popular radio programs in the country, the team determined that remaining at 1270 was the ideal decision given the marquee address and existing infrastructure," Reetz says.
Tishman Speyer was represented in-house and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a law firm, served as Premiere's legal counsel.
Premiere, which leases the largest chunk of space in the building, is joined by a number of firms including Initiative Media Worldwide, the Milburn Corp., Warner Music, Bank of Thailand and Northwest Airlines. French Connection and the Body Shop are retailers in the property.
"Tishman Speyer was equally pleased to complete the deal given that Premier is such a prestigious tenant and the largest at the property," Reetz says.
