WOODRIDGE, IL-Comcast Corp., headquartered in Philadelphia, has recently occupied an 80,000-sf call center at 10100 Woodward Ave. here. The building, owned and developed by ProLogis, has 77,000 sf of office space and 3,000 sf of warehouse space.
The $9.4 million project was constructed by Oak Brook-based Krusinski Construction Co. Joseph Krusinski was the project manager and John Becker was the project engineer. John Haggerty, of Lincolnshire-based Dobrin & Associates, was the project architect for the exterior of the facility and Keith Rabuse and Lori Ott, of Dallas-based Gromatzky Dupree and Associates, were the architects for the interior of the facility.
Comcast has signed an 11-year lease for the facility, says Mark Coffman, vice president of customer care. Coffman would not disclose the lease rate. The facility is located on approximately 8.5 acres and has parking for 536 cars. A fitness center is one of the building’s perks.
