New JLL Group to Focus on Open-Air Centers

CHICAGO-The retail group president says the product is the fastest growing category for shopping centers.

CHICAGO-Jones Lang LaSalle has formed a new group to focus on the open-air shopping format, including lifestyle centers, power centers and some mixed use and strip centers, says Greg Maloney, president of Jones Lang LaSalle Retail. The group will be part of Jones Lang LaSalle Retail and will be lead by Michael Longmore.

Jones Lang LaSalle recently hired Longmore, Sig Arnesen and Chris Rehmet. The three will all be senior vice presidents and all come from Inland Real Estate. Arnesen will focus on property and asset management and Rehmet will focus on leasing.
