She says jobs are coming back to the Detroit area. "This is a great market, we've had a lot of success here. Southfield is centrally located, it allows us to grab talent from across Metropolitan Detroit," she tells GlobeSt.com. The new jobs will include call center employees as well as customer service and financial services representatives, coordinators, analysts, trainers, supervisors, associate directors and one manager.

She says she cannot say what the lease rate is for the expansion, made as an addendum and not a renewal of the lease. The average lease rate for the Southfield area is $19.47, according to a fourth-quarter CB Richard Ellis market report.

The company said in December that it will build the new 112,800 call center in Nebraska by 2007. The building will be in the University of Nebraska Technology Park at 4600 Innovation Dr. in Lincoln. Hiring has already begun for the 800 new jobs, says company officials.
