WestMar, which is the leading independent commercial real estate brokerage firm in South Riverside County, will now be called Grubb & Ellis|WestMar. The partnership will operate out of WestMar's current office on Margarita Road in Temecula, where nine brokers and four professional staffers will reside.
"For both firms it was a way to really focus to a higher degree on South Riverside County," Marc Doyle, executive vice president of transaction services at Grubb & Ellis, tells GlobeSt.com. "For WestMar they get Grubb & Ellis' professional training programs and access to a well-known national company. For Grubb & Ellis it's an excellent opportunity because many of our clients from San Diego have eyed the South Riverside area."
A population increase, Doyle notes, has kept South Riverside in need of more commercial services, particularly retail, which is a specialty of WestMar's, along with office, land, industrial and investment properties.
