GlobeSt.RETAIL Debt & Equity Journal

For GlobeSt.com, Clements will focus his reporting and investigating skills on the Greater Boston area, including the strong bio-tech area of Cambridge and the strengthening Back Bay submarket. At GSR he will cover major breaking stories in the Northeast and across the country.

"I'm really happy that Joe's rejoining us," says GlobeSt.com national online editor John Salustri. "I've always thought he was a great reporter when his focus was on GlobeSt alone. The company is very different now, much more diverse in its product offerings. It gives Joe a great platform to spread his net wider."A 25-year journalism veteran, Clements has worked for a number of business and real estate publications including Boston Business Journal and Banker & Tradesman. He has written articles for the Boston Globe, Urban Land Institute Magazine and Real Estate Forum, Real Estate Media's flagship print publication. In 2000, Clements helped launch GlobeSt.com with his coverage of the Boston market.

Over his career, Clements has won six New England Press Association awards, including best news story, best sports story, editorial writing and investigative journalism.

Clements joins the Northeast team, headed by Northeast bureau chief Katie Hinderer, who covers New York City and oversees all the Northeast content; Eric Peterson, who covers the New Jersey market; Marita Thomas, in Philadelphia; John Jordan, who covers Westchester and Erika Morphy, who covers Washington, DC. Morphy is co-editor of Debt & Equity Journal.
