Shuken previously was assistant director and Nelik was an associate. In Chicago, Adam Mitchell becomes managing director after nearly six years with the firm as an assistant director. In the Northern New Jersey office, Gregg K. Najarian rises to corporate managing director from managing director. In San Francisco, Stephen D. Chaitin is made managing director as he marks his seventh year with the firm.

(DENVER) The firm promotes two and hires five. Carole Schumacher is elevated to director of condominium sales after five years as marketing director while Megan Maddocks, who joined the firm in June 2006 as a marketing assistant, is named marketing coordinator. The hires are Michael Garza as commercial sales adviser; William Balkovatz as managing director; Gary Garcia as broker associate; Christine Steger as transactions coordinator; and Eileen McAnulty as office manager and administrative assistant.

(NEW YORK CITY) Gregory P. Nero becomes general counsel of Sterling Equities and Sterling American Property Inc. He previously was deputy general counsel for Sterling Equities and Sterling American Funds.

(ATLANTA David J. Weymer is named managing principal, getting a seat on the investment committee and leadership for all areas of capital markets, legal and asset management for Noble and its private equity funds. For 12 years, he's been a principal at Thayer Lodging Group.

(DETROIT) Frederick J. Liesveld is named executive vice president and managing director to lead the local office. He most recently was director of sales and marketing for Ronnisch Construction Group in Royal Oak, MI.

CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD OF ARIZONA
(PHOENIX) Brit Chamberlain comes on board as an associate in the valuation services group. He previously was an appraiser with New West Consulting in Mesa.

(NEW YORK CITY) Joshua B. Goldenberg begins as vice president after interning with the firm last year.
