MLP Building $100M Mixed-Use Infill Project

BRENTWOOD, MO-MLP Investments is now building Hanley Station, a mixed-use development just south of Highway 40 on Hanley Road. The company is spending up to $100 million to build three condominium buildings with 150 units, a 123-room hotel, two parking garages, three restaurants and another 11,000-sf retail center.

Andrew Checkley, project manager, says the property is mostly horizontal, not multistory properties. The hotel, a Marriott Springhill Suites, is under construction and should be finished in late fall, he says.

The first retail building, 4,000 sf, is also under construction. “It’s been leased to Intaglia, a local furniture store. The other 7,000-sf building is also under construction, and Jimmy John’s has already signed a lease.” Checkley says there are letters of intent and leases almost signed with three other tenants, including another restaurant and store. Houlihans has moved into one of the three restaurant pads, but the other two are available. “We’re working with a couple of different folks on those,” he tells GlobeSt.com.
