Gov. Ed Rendell's action team and the Allegheny Conference on Community Development coordinated the incentive package. In a statement, Rendell says, "The company's decision to invest and grow here will translate into new professional opportunities in fields that are experiencing impressive growth."
Marczak says Sycor will use the funds for training and recruiting. He also says the company plans a $3-million investment, which includes $1.7 million in leasehold improvements and new office equipment.
