Law Firm Signs Long-Term 50,000-SF Lease

HARTFORD-The law firm Cantor Colburn LLP will be moving from Bloomfield to new offices in Downtown Hartford, according to Cushman & Wakefield of Connecticut executives. The intellectual property law firm has signed a long-term lease for approximately 50,000 sf of space at 20 Church St.

The space on the 20th and 21st floors of the 23-story, 425,000-sf building is currently being renovated. The Hampshire Cos. of Morristown, NJ purchased the property last year and has initiated a complete renovation of the property.

Cantor Colburn currently occupies approximately 35,000 sf of space at 55 Griffin Rd. South in nearby Bloomfield. Cantor Colburn was represented by Robert Kelly, senior director with C&W’s Hartford office.
