PORTLAND, OR-Petco has leased 62,000 sf of new distribution space here that will replace a smaller leasehold it has in this market. Located at ProLogis Park PDX, the leasehold will serve as one of six regional Petco distribution centers nationwide.
ProLogis Park PDX is located four miles east of Portland International Airport, near Interstates 205 and 84. The park currently comprises three facilities totaling 283,000 sf. At build-out, it will contain four distribution centers totaling 528,400 sf.
A source with ProLogis tells GlobeSt.com that Petco leased 75% of a new 83,077-sf building at the park that will be completed in September. ProLogis owns a total of 3.7 million sf in the region.
Earlier this year, Victory Packaging, a logistics solutions company based in Houston, leased 30,000 sf in a ProLogis Park PDX building completed in 2006, brining it to 100% occupancy. Also this year, Corporate Express leased 48,000 sf.
