The property's two 19th-century townhouses at Locust and S. Carmac streets are the former location of the Princeton-Yale Club of Philadelphia and are listed on the national register of historic sites. Chef Fritz, as he is called, has operated the restaurant for 27 years. It will close on June 8.
Dining takes place in several separate dining rooms, including a chef's library and study, each with a fireplace. Cullen tells GlobeSt.com they aggregate 11,472 sf. In addition to the buildings, the sale includes all kitchen and restaurant equipment, the liquor and wine inventory, liquor license and rights to the restaurant's name. Cullen says he is marketing the restaurant locally, regionally and nationally.
