"Specifically, Maher will focus on strengthening the relationships with, and enhancing the services we provide to, existing clients as well as developing new client opportunities in CBRE's outsourcing business," according to a company spokesman. CBRE's outsourcing business ranges from property and facilities management to project management.

"John is recognized in the real estate industry as an innovative leader who has helped a wide range of corporate clients structure and implement highly successful long term partnerships with real estate providers," says William Concannon, vice chairman of Global Corporate Services.

Most recently, Maher was an executive vice president at Colliers International. He worked there for almost three years, and led the firm's corporate solutions division. Prior to that, Maher worked almost 10 years at the Trammell Crow Co. At TCC he was responsible for executing the business development plan.
