The property, which was built in 1909 and is an area landmark, is being marketed by Eastern Consolidated's R. Stuart Gross and Barry Berkowitz. The facility is currently completely vacant."The AIA Guide describes this property as 'a great tour de force of neo-Roman design," says Gross. "The building offers 21,700 sf above grade plus a 3,200-sf basement with separate street access and windows."

The building was originally built for the New York School of Applied Design for Women. Most recently it was occupied by Touro College, which completed a $750,000 renovation on the property to restore the building's skylights and oversized windows to the original design.
