Locally based First National is experiencing rapid growth and is currently headquartered in the buildings located at 4-9 N. High St. John Morrissey of Jackson Cross Partners says his company approached TD Northbank on First National's behalf. "First National wanted to expand operations at its headquarters location here in the heart of the county seat. This acquisition was key to achieving their plan," he says.
"By controlling all of the buildings from 1-9 N. High St., as well as dedicated parking behind the building, the bank can broaden the spectrum of services it provides its clients," adds Mary Frances McGarrity of King of Prussia-based Jackson Cross. She and Morrissey negotiated the transaction.
First Chester County Corp., First National's parent, was founded in 1984 and is the largest independent bank based in Chester County. It operates 21 branches.
