"Both Matthijs and Helen have outstanding track records in providing targeted analysis for key property stocks in Europe and Asia," says Rutson Ferguson, chief investment officer for ING Clarion Real Estate Securities. The company is an affiliate of ING Real Estate. In their new roles, Storm and Wong will be responsible for providing coverage and analysis of listed real estate companies in their respective market areas, explains Ferguson, whose firm aims to participate in the globalization of the commercial property sector through an active growth campaign.

Most recently, Storm had been head of CRE research at Fortis Bank Global Markets in Amsterdam, working to create a team responsible for covering European-based real estate investors. Storm had also been an equity analyst at Kempen & Co. Merchant Bank in Amsterdam, for whom he covered real estate operations in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Wong also brings experience from the JP Morgan Securities' Regional Property Hong Kong/China group, where she specialized on coverage of small- and mid-cap real estate companies. Storm and Wong join an investment management firm that has been offering a range of real estate programs since 1984, including separate accounts, mutual funds, closed-end vehicles and absolute return strategies.
