Studley represented the tenant, with executive managing director Howard Nottingham, executive vice presidents David Goldstein and Matthew Barlow, and corporate managing director Jeffrey Peck handling matters. Roger Silverstein represented Silverstein Properties.
On the legal end, Charles Salfeld of Morrison Cohen represented Emmet, Marvin & Martin, and Jonathan Bright and Jeffrey A. Samuels of Siller Wilk represented Silverstein Properties. The tenant has been a New York legal presence since 1805.
This is the biggest of several leases that have been announced this week. Withers Bergman LLP has signed for 16,400 sf of sublease space--the entire ninth floor of 430 Park Ave.--with sublessor UniCredit Group for an 11-year term. UniCredit is consolidating its operations. Studley represented both sides of the deal, with Erik Schmall working for the tenant, and David R. Dusek, John A. Mambrino and Scott Weiss representing UniCredit.
Z-Brand/Vicstar International has signed an 11-year, 15,092-sf lease at 42 W. 39th St., which it will use for general office space as well as for showroom and design purposes. Adams & Co. represented both tenant and landlord, with Brett Maslin and David Menaged handling the tenant's end, and David Levy and Jeffrey Schwartz working with the unnamed landlord. The taking rent was undisclosed, but asking rents in the building at $38 per sf.
The Huffington Post has expanded its space to 10,250 sf, taking two full floors at 560 Broadway for a seven-year term. David Baker and Joel Isaacs of Isaacs and Co. represented the Internet tenant, as they had for the initial 4,300-sf lease in 2005. Donna Vogel of Newmark Knight Frank represented the landlord, 560 Broadway Associates, a partnership in which NKF chairman Jeffrey Gural is managing partner.
And consulting firm Net2S Inc. has signed for the full 22nd floor at 110 Wall St. for 10.5 years, relocating from 82 Wall St. this fall. Michael Morris and Zach Gingold of NKF repped the tenant, and landlord Rubin Management Co. was internally represented by Robert Steinman and Gene Baumstein.
