$100M Takes Frederick, MD Office Portfolio

FREDERICK, MD-The deal illustrates the growing interest investors are taking in this Maryland submarket.

FREDERICK, MD-TA Associates Realty has acquired a five-building, multi-story office portfolio from Baltimore private investors for $95.9 million. The trade of Westview Corporate Campus, a 450,000-sf portfolio, follows a few other large deals here, thus placing the Frederick submarket on the map for institutional investors.

“We are seeing more activity in Frederick market,” reports Manekin LLC associate Liz Martin. “There have been two significant deals here in the last six months, which is a lot for the area,” she tells GlobeSt.com.

Manekin Investment Services Senior Associate Don Schline and Martin represented the seller, an entity called Westview LLLP, in the transaction.
