Heretofore headquartered at 9 Townsend Rd. in Nashua, EqualLogic will move into a 250,000-sf building at 110 Spit Brook Rd., an office campus occupied and owned by Hewlett-Packard Corp. that is being repositioned as a multi-tenanted park. Located just off the first NH exit of Route 3, the 88-acre complex is also in the process of being sold by the California-based computer giant, as reported previously by GlobeSt.com.

Cushman & Wakefield's Middle Markets Group is marketing 110 Spit Brook Rd. to potential buyers, and the real estate services firm is also exclusive leasing agent for the three-building complex. C&W broker Denis Dancoes represented the landlord in the EqualLogic lease, while brokers Joe Doyle and Joe Sciolla of Cresa Partners in Boston acted on behalf of the tenant. Specializing in corporate advisory work, Cresa Partners has been assisting EqualLogic in its search for a new headquarters during a three-pronged project management assignment.

According to Peter Hayden, founder of EqualLogic and EVP of Business Development, 110 Spit Brook Rd. won over other options for a variety of reasons, including the opportunity for his company to expand at the 700,000-sf property, and the ability to relocate to a building featuring 20,000 sf of laboratory space. EqualLogic, which has its own PS Series storage area network program, will benefit from a location on the Massachusetts border that should allow for greater recruitment of employees from that state's labor pool, adds Haney.
