$14M Summit Career College Commences

COLTON, CA-The Hodgdon Group has started construction on a new $14 million vocational training center for Summit Career College. The Hodgdon Group, which is basedin Colton, is handling the design, entitlements and construction management for the 75,000-sf vocational training center.

The $14 million development will also include a second phase that will feature an additional 40,000 sf that will be available for lease. The architect for the project, which is at 851 S. Cooley Dr., is RKZ Inc. of Tustin.

The three-story Summit Career College building, which is scheduled to open in January 2008, is expected to serve more than 1,200 medical, dental and nursing students. The career college is currently located in Colton, just a block away.
