Robert Henofer has been named VP of property management; Amy Doherty has been appointed VP and chief information officer, and Susan Galletti, director of finance, has been promoted to VP of taxation. This move has been in the works for awhile, according to a spokeswoman for the locally based specialty financial REIT, who tells GlobeSt.com the appointments are unrelated to the sudden June 29 death of Harold Pote, CEO, who introduced the repositioning plan in August 2006.
Henofer, who previously headed asset management for Edison, NJ-based M. Alfieri Co., brings extensive experience in the management and commercial investment of large, diverse real estate portfolios. He has served as president and VP at New Castle, DE-based Delle Donne & Associates, and earlier as VP of Marleton, NJ-based Michaels Development Co. At AFR he will report to Fred Arena, SVP of asset management.
Doherty previously consulted with Merck & Co. in directing a technology application integration project. Before that she held several posts, including VP and processing information manager at GMAC Commercial Mortgage.
Gallettti joined AFR in October 2004. Before that she was the director of finance for a Philadelphia-based commercial real estate company and has also served as corporate secretary for Vornado Realty Trust in New Jersey.
Galletti and Doherty will report to Dave Nettina, CFO, who is now also serving as co-president. "Strengthening our asset management capabilities and completing the implementation of our enterprise-wide technology platform were strategic objectives of our corporate and portfolio repositioning plan," he says in a statement. "These appointments solidify those initiatives."
