AFR Adds Three to Senior Management Team

JENKINTOWN, PA-As a part of its ongoing repositioning strategy, the financial REIT beefs up the asset management, tax and information technology teams.

JENKINTOWN, PA-The senior management team of American Financial Realty Trust has been expanded by two new hires and a promotion. All three appointments are part of a planned repositioning strategy that has been underway since mid-2006.

Robert Henofer has been named VP of property management; Amy Doherty has been appointed VP and chief information officer, and Susan Galletti, director of finance, has been promoted to VP of taxation. This move has been in the works for awhile, according to a spokeswoman for the locally based specialty financial REIT, who tells GlobeSt.com the appointments are unrelated to the sudden June 29 death of Harold Pote, CEO, who introduced the repositioning plan in August 2006.

Henofer, who previously headed asset management for Edison, NJ-based M. Alfieri Co., brings extensive experience in the management and commercial investment of large, diverse real estate portfolios. He has served as president and VP at New Castle, DE-based Delle Donne & Associates, and earlier as VP of Marleton, NJ-based Michaels Development Co. At AFR he will report to Fred Arena, SVP of asset management.
