The deal will start at the end of the year, when current tenant Deloitte & Touche moves out for its new home in 100 Kimball Dr., also in Mack-Cali Business Center. GlobeSt.com reported the deal in May, but at the time the Daiichi lease had not been finalized.

The aggregate value of the lease was not disclosed. Daiichi Sankyo will now control all of the four-story building 2 Hilton Court for its US headquarters. Mack-Cali's VP of leasing Diane Chayes tells Globest.com that the deal has taken a year to put together. Daiichi looked at some other buildings in the Parsippany area, but ultimately chose to stay put and expand into Deloitte's vacated space.

The tenant was represented by Jack Fatigati and Jim Garibaldi of the Chatham-based Garibaldi Group. Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Chayes.

"This transaction is a clear demonstration of the continued appeal of Morris County as a corporate Headquarters location," says Mitchell E. Hersh, president and CEO of Mack-Cali.
