ProLogis Consolidates DC Operations in Silver Spring HQs

SILVER SPRING, MD-The company chooses its new digs with an eye toward a future expansion of its DC-based leasing and property management operations.

SILVER SPRING, MD-ProLogis is moving its DC-based employees into new headquarters here. The company has leased more than 3,000 sf at 8515 Georgia Ave. from which its 20 or so staff members manage the company’s portfolio for the Baltimore/Washington DC region. The move is a consolidation of the company’s offices in Elkridge, a Maryland submarket in Howard County, and in Alexandria, VA.

Mark Levy, VP and market officer for ProLogis in Washington DC/Baltimore, tells GlobeSt.com that the company specifically chose Silver Spring to serve as its headquarters because it is equidistance from its holdings in the Maryland and Virginia markets.
