HAZLETON, PA-The 100,000-sf industrial facility at 504 White Birch Rd. has traded hands for $2.9 million. Interplast Group Ltd. has bought it from National Starch & Chemical Co. The deal works out to $29 per sf.

Interplast is a plastic packaging and industrial bag and supply manufacturer. It operates through its AmTopp, Integrated Bagging Systems and Work-Pak divisions. National Starch & Chemical manufactures industrial adhesives, starches, electronics materials and specialty polymers.

Colliers Lanard & Axilbund SVPs Lee Fein and Michael Zerbe were the sole brokers in the transaction. Other recent Colliers L&A industrial deals include the 188,500-sf facility at 2860 Bath Pike in Nazareth, PA. South Jersey Colliers L&A deals include the purchase of 800 Coopertown Rd. and 2700 Burlington Ave. in Delanco, NJ; the 111,240-sf facility at 8290 National Hwy. in Pennsauken, NJ; and a pair of 35,000-sf buildings at 1625 and 1601 Hylton Rd. also in Pennsauken.
