Energy and Sustainability Services

Vrkic and other Energy & Sustainability Services officers report to Jones Lang LaSalle's Environmental Sustainability Board, a group that oversees not only client service offerings but also the firm's internal initiative to minimize its impact on the environment. The internal initiative, known as Act for a Cleaner Tomorrow, is carrying out programs to reduce the consumption of energy, water, paper and other waste at Jones Lang LaSalle's 160 offices worldwide.

The new group is offering services such as consulting services and facility management services to reduce companies' energy and water usage, construction management of "green" buildings and buildings seeking LEED certification from the US Green Building Council. As one of its services, the new group will coordinate for a client all of its green services, even if they are services provided by other companies.

While the group is new to JLL the services are not. Rather, the new group will allow for more communication and collaboration between different departments and different geographic regions. JLL says the new group currently has about 25 "major clients."
