JLL Promotes Two to Division Chairman, CEO

CHICAGO-John Phillips and Stuart Hicks have been promoted to chairman and CEO, respectively, of the Corporate Solutions division.

CHICAGO-Jones Lang LaSalle, based here, has promoted Stuart Hicks to chief executive officer and is promoting John Phillips from his current role as chief executive officer to chairman of the firm’s Corporate Solutions division in the Americas. Hicks was previously the global account executive for the firm’s business with Bank of America. Phillips will continue to serve as chairman of the firm’s Global Corporate Solutions Board.

The corporate solutions business division manages corporate client real estate portfolios with the integration of transactional services, facility management services, project management services, strategic consulting, occupancy planning and lease administration, Hicks says. Many of the clients are national or intentional companies with major clients, including Bank of America, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Proctor & Gamble, Motorola, Whirlpool and HSBC. “In some cases, a corporate client would hire us to provide a consistent delivery platform,” he says. “We are integrating a lot of cultures, we are integrating across a lot of geography and we are integrating these multiple services in a consistent way.”
