Steven Steinmeyer, with Jones Lang LaSalle, represented the law firm in the transaction. Representatives from Prime Group Realty Trust were not available for comment. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
The 954,000-sf building was developed in 1992. Major tenants include United Airlines, Wachovia and Microsoft. Microsoft expanded its lease last year by 12,391 sf to occupy a total of 47,122 sf, as reported by GlobeSt.com. United Airlines leases 130,000 sf in the building and received naming rights to the building when it selected it as its headquarters last year. The asking lease rate for class A space in the Central Loop submarket is $37.04 per sf, according to the Grubb & Ellis' second quarter market report.
