The new transactions during the second quarter of the year range from large, multi-faceted leases to numerous renewals and expansions by existing tenants. New leases for the quarter totaled more than 51,000 sf, while renewals comprised 131,250 sf. Harry Stavro of Rechler Equity Partners represented the ownership in all the below transactions.

The largest among the deals signed was a 57,150-sf lease renewal by Long Island Stove Inc., at 100 Andrews Rd. in Hicksville. Long Island Stove was represented by Ted Trias of Sutton & Edwards in the lease negotiations.

Other major deals signed during the second quarter of 2007 included a 32,000-sf renewal by PCI at 140 Wilbur Place in Bohemia and Décor Moulding's 24,000-sf lease renewal at 60 Oser Ave. in Hauppauge. Rich Cohen of Ashlind Properties negotiated on behalf of Décor Moulding.

Among the new leases signed, Global Payments Technology committed to 25,550 sf at 170 Wilbur Place in Bohemia. The company plans to relocate its operations from 425 Oser Ave. in Hauppauge to the new space. Leo Farrell of Corporate Realty Services represented Global Payments Technology in the lease negotiations.

In addition, InvaGen Pharmaceutical Inc. leased 20,472 sf at 85 Engineers Rd. in Hauppauge. The company, which currently occupies 25,000 sf at 7 Oser Ave., was represented by Douglas Donatelli of Metro Realty Services in the negotiations.
