Rechler Equity Signs 182,272 SF in Q2 '07

MELVILLE, NY-Long Island-based based Rechler Equity Partners signed more than 182,272 sf in new leases and renewals during the second quarter of 2007. The ownership announced the completion of nine transactions throughout its 5.6-million-sf portfolio, bringing total occupancy to 98.3%. Rechler was unable to be reached for comment by press time.

The new transactions during the second quarter of the year range from large, multi-faceted leases to numerous renewals and expansions by existing tenants. New leases for the quarter totaled more than 51,000 sf, while renewals comprised 131,250 sf. Harry Stavro of Rechler Equity Partners represented the ownership in all the below transactions.

The largest among the deals signed was a 57,150-sf lease renewal by Long Island Stove Inc., at 100 Andrews Rd. in Hicksville. Long Island Stove was represented by Ted Trias of Sutton & Edwards in the lease negotiations.
