Buckley joins DCM from JER Partners, the private equity investment division of the J.E. Robert Cos., where she was president of the US fund business. At JER, she was responsible for asset management and acquisitions and served on JER's investment committee.
Buckley joined JEW in 1997 as CFO and SVP. In 2000, she was promoted to senior managing director, responsible for North American acquisitions and asset management. In that role, Buckley had driven the success of JER's US investment funds.
Prior to joining JER, Buckley spent nine years at Bankers Trust in the investment banking group where she focused on equity offerings, debt placements and mergers and acquisitions activities. "Cia is an outstanding investor and a leader in the US real estate business," says Daniel Neidich, co-CEO of DCM. "We are very excited to have her as a partner as we continue to build the Dune Real Estate Funds."
DCM currently has approximately $2.5 billion under management. The firm was founded in 2004 by former Goldman Sachs executives Daniel Neidich, Steven Mnuchin and Chip Seelig.
