Dune Capital Management Adds Buckley as Partner

NEW YORK CITY-Locally based investment management firm Dune Capital Management LP has added Cia Buckley as a partner in Dune Real Estate Partners’ Fifth Avenue office. Buckley will also be a managing director and principal of DCM and a member of the Dune Real Estate Investment Committee. A spokesperson for the company tells GlobeSt.com that Buckley will be focusing on the firm’s real estate investment activities in the US and Europe.

Buckley joins DCM from JER Partners, the private equity investment division of the J.E. Robert Cos., where she was president of the US fund business. At JER, she was responsible for asset management and acquisitions and served on JER’s investment committee.

Buckley joined JEW in 1997 as CFO and SVP. In 2000, she was promoted to senior managing director, responsible for North American acquisitions and asset management. In that role, Buckley had driven the success of JER’s US investment funds.
