"We are very pleased with the retail lineup that will debut this fall in the new lifestyle addition," says Frank Lucia, senior property manager for the center, which is owned by the Santa Monica, CA-based Macerich. "Our shoppers told us they wanted new retail and dining options, and our research also showed a desire for an outdoor setting."

The new signees join five previously announced tenants in the building. The others are Borders Books, which took more than 25,000 sf earlier this year, along with Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Jared the Galleria of Jewelry and Territory Ahead.

As reported by GlobeSt.com, Macerich kicked off the expansion project in 2006. That expansion is part of a larger project that includes a renovation of the existing enclosed mall.
