The largest of the buildings is Corporate Point at Briargate, a 115,260-sf office building (net rentable) on a 7.9-acre lot at 1975 Research Pkwy. The major tenant in the building is Kaiser Foundation. The second and third buildings, Tech Center East and West at Briargate, are flex-office buildings totaling 95,392 sf (net rentable). The buildings sit on 8.7 acres. The street addresses are 2375 Telstar Dr. and 8415 Explorer Dr. The major tenant is Harris Corp.
David Tilton of Frederick Ross Co. in Denver and Kent Mau of Sierra Commercial Real Estate in Colorado Springs brokered the transaction. Westcore director of acquisitions Gary Katz says Westcore decided to sell the property after accomplishing its business plan, which was to add value by raising occupancy.
