Westcore Sells 210,000 SF at Briargate

COLORADO SPRINGS-For $35.6 million, the San Diego-based investment firm sells three buildings here that sit within the Briargate Business Complex and are 96% leased.

COLORADO SPRINGS-Westcore Properties has sold three buildings in the Briargate Business Complex here for a total of $35.6 million. The San Diego-based investment firm sold the buildings to Colorado Springs Office Buildings Inc., an affiliate of Phoenix Property Co. of Dallas.

The largest of the buildings is Corporate Point at Briargate, a 115,260-sf office building (net rentable) on a 7.9-acre lot at 1975 Research Pkwy. The major tenant in the building is Kaiser Foundation. The second and third buildings, Tech Center East and West at Briargate, are flex-office buildings totaling 95,392 sf (net rentable). The buildings sit on 8.7 acres. The street addresses are 2375 Telstar Dr. and 8415 Explorer Dr. The major tenant is Harris Corp.
