The building is located at 2999 Oak Rd., which is northeast of the intersection of Interstate 680 and Treat Boulevard, and adjacent to the Pleasant Hills BART station. Tenants include Vodafone, Basic American Foods and McDonald's USA.
"This acquisition was driven by our confidence in the Bay Area economy as well as our belief that [transit-oriented developments] in technology-driven markets will outperform general office investment benchmarks over our intended investment period," says American Realty principal Greg Blomstrand in a prepared statement. "In addition, we expect the redevelopment of the adjacent Pleasant Hills BART Station will enhance an already strong amenity base available to our tenants."
American Realty Advisors acquired the property on behalf of one of its commingled funds. The company would neither confirm nor deny the seller or the price, citing a confidentiality agreement.
