Long-Time Naree Leader Bob Bruss Dies

BURLINGAME, CA-The real estate columnist dies at his Northern California home after a bout with cancer. He was 67.

BURLINGAME, CA-Real estate columnist Bob Bruss, a long-time leader with the National Association of Real Estate Editors, died of cancer-related complications last week at his northern California home. He was 67.

Sometimes referred to as the “Dear Abby of Real Estate,” Bruss scribed the weekly syndicated “Real Estate Mailbag” question-and-answer real estate column for more than 20 years. He also penned the “Real Estate Notebook” feature on real estate trends, “Real Estate Law and You” about recent court decisions affecting real estate, and “Real Estate Book Review” features. Bob also wrote several books, including “The Smart Investor’s Guide to Real Estate.”
