HAMPTON, VA-A new lease with Guardian Services Group for 135,000 sf brings one of First Potomac Realty Trust's industrial assets up to the 50% occupancy mark. The logistics company inked the deal at 2000 Enterprise Pkwy., a 412,000-sf property that was purchased by First Potomac in September 2005 and had been vacant from 2002 until June of this year.

According to Skip Dawson, First Potomac's chief operating officer, the firm is now has several active prospects for the remaining space, including, possibly, an expansion by Guardian.

“The configuration of this high-bay space, the ability to offer 360-degree access and a tightening market for large, available space enabled us to meet Guardian's needs on an incredibly short timeframe,” he says in a statement. “We look forward to working closely with them as they grow.”

Built in 1996, the asking rate for the building is between $6 to $12 per sf, according to First Potomac's website.
