VICTORVILLE, CA-A joint venture of Orange County's Stirling Enterprises and Denver-based DCT Industrial Trust has started construction on two logistics-oriented multitenant buildings totaling 233,773 sf targeting smaller users at Southern California Logistics Centre, the former George Air Force Base. The partners have signed five letters of intent with prospective tenants representing 22% of the two new buildings, which are expected to be completed in February of 2008.

The buildings are part of phase-one construction at the former air base, where Newell Rubbermaid already occupies a facility totaling 407,612 sf. The first phase will total 6.5 million sf over 350 acres of land.
