Colliers To Advise on Airport Development

QUITO, ECUADOR-The ongoing assignment will help airport officials address a platform that is expanding due to rapid growth.

QUITO, ECUADOR-The Multimodal Services Group of Colliers International has been selected to advise on creation of support development surrounding a new airport currently under construction here in this South American community. The New Quito International Airport is slated to be in limited use in April 2010, followed by a full-scale opening in October 2010.

“This is an outstanding opportunity for aviation-related developers to participate in what is perhaps the only ‘greenfield’ airport project underway in the western hemisphere,” says John Carver, EVP of the Colliers Multimodal Services Group. The Colliers team was retained by Corporacion Quiport SA, the entity awarded the concession to finance, construct and operate the facility.
