NEW YORK CITY-Acknowledging the unique skills and expertise required to operate regional malls and lifestyle centers, Centro Properties Group has created a separate team dedicated to managing, operating and leasing those centers in its portfolio, the company announced today. Led by Leonard Brumberg, EVP, the team will oversee the following centers: regional malls Eagle Rock Plaza, Los Angeles; Enfield Square, Enfield, CT; West Park Mall, Cape Girardeau, MO; Independence Mall, Wilmington, NC; Midway Mall, Elyria, OH; Richland Mall, Mansfield, OH; and lifestyle centers the Shoppes at EastChase, Montgomery, AL; Pointe Orlando, Orlando, FL and Westgate, Fairview Park, OH.

“These projects really are a separate entity,” a spokeswoman tells GSR. Joining Brumberg in managing the projects are: Robert Steiner, SVP, leasing; Dennis Connolly, VP, development/redevelopment; Al Dorn, VP, property management; Susan Godorov, VP, marketing; Anne Williams-Eilola, director, legal services; and John Mobley, property controller. The team will be based in New York City.

All were already on staff with Centro, and many already were working on some of the centers prior to the team's formation. Australia-based Centro now owns and manages 650 retail properties located across 40 states.
