Yvonne Baker, of Raleigh, NC-based Highwoods Properties Inc., represented the owner in the transaction. Highwoods owns the building and handles the management and leasing of the property. Clark Brandt with Bishop Realty & Development represented the tenant. Baker tells GlobeSt.com that the 98,569-sf Berkshire building is the fourth building to be constructed in the MetroCenter office complex, with two more to be built. It was completed in July. With the Compass Knowledge Holdings lease, the building is 100% occupied. The space is currently being fit out for Compass, which will move into the space in the next several months.
Berkshire is a four-story building in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, hotels and banks. The MetroWest County Club is less than one mile away. It has access to Interstate 4, 408 Expressway and the Florida Turnpike.
