SKB Acquires 255,000-SF Project for $85M

HONOLULU-The Portland, OR-based investment firm buys the Pacific Park Plaza office center on a long-term ground lease.

HONOLULU-Scanlan Kemper Bard Cos. of Portland, OR has acquired the 254,639-sf Pacific Park Plaza office complex from Torrance, CA-basedTranspacific Development Co. for $85 million. The complex, at the corner of Kapiolani Boulevard and Cooke Street, includesa 214,465-sf class A office tower of 15 stories, a 40,174-sf two-story class B building and a five-story parking garage with 557 spaces.

SKB bought the two office buildings subject to a long-term ground lease and acquired the parking garage on a fee-simple basis. The complex, which was developed in the 1980s, was 95% leased at the time of the sale.
