Emerging Trends in Real Estate

Miller has more than 25 years of communications and marketing experience in the real estate industry, counseling many leading executives. For the past 16 years he has authored ULI and Pricewaterhouse Cooper's annual industry forecast, often speaking extensively on suburban and urban issues. He is also author of ULI's Infrastructure 2007: Global Perspectives, a major analysis on the looming changes facing the US on infrastructure and land use issues.

TrendCzar will take pointed positions and will concentrate on trends that impact real estate investment and development. Miller tells GlobeSt.com that it will also focus on how and where people work and live. The interactive blog will allow for and feature notable reader feedback that takes issue. Miller notes that the blog will comprise original observations about news and events and will provide original reporting on trend views of various experts and observers with appropriate commentary. It will also highlight and comment on key factoids and information sourced from various articles and reports.

"Jonathan Miller is one of the most influential commentators at work in the industry today," says John Salustri, national online editor of GlobeSt.com. "It only makes sense that he team up with GlobeSt.com."

Miller has led marketing and communications teams at Equitable Real Estate, Lend Lease, and GMAC Commercial Mortgage or Capmark Finance, overseeing re-branding programs for those firms as well as for Compass, Boston Financial and Amresco when they were acquired by Lend Lease.
