The green building buzz has spread to the printed page, or in this case, the new headquarters for Press Enterprise, which has served Riverside and San Bernardino counties as a general interest newspaper since 1878.Designed by LPA, the 164,000-sf, five-story, mid-rise office building is located at 3512 14th St. in Riverside and designed to LEED-certified standards. It opened in September.

"The 100-foot tower will provide a striking iconic element to the building, becoming a landmark of the Downtown Riverside area," says Rick D'Amato, design principal with LPA. "The architecture celebrates the uniqueness of both the heritage of the Press Enterprise and Downtown Riverside, while also providing an environmentally responsible solution.
